Media Sales Account Executive - £20k basic £35 - £40k OTE

Central London

The organisation is a highly successful independent media sales company. In addition to publishing its own stable of magazines, it is recruited by other companies to sell their advertising in a variety of media including a strong digital/online focus. As the name suggests they largely specialise in educational and recruitment advertising with a national and international client list. The company strongly encourages employees to meet them on a regular basis

They work with several established and well known companies including The Times Group (News International), thestudentroom.co.uk, Bebo, The Economist, The ACCA and BBC.com.

Due to growth, internal promotions and new contract wins, they are looking for more Account Managers to join the company. You must be able to rapidly absorb market knowledge and possess a solid sales technique to cross sell into various products and mediums. Initially the role is office based, however they are very keen to get you presenting to clients as soon as soon as possible face to face, be they in the UK or overseas. Last year Account Managers visited clients in New York, Australia, The Netherlands, Russia, Malaysia, Singapore and Hong Kong.

The £35 - £40k OTE is based on the first year earnings of Educate staff who have graduated from the Propeller Academy in 2009. Added incentives over the last few months have been many cocktail evenings, meals out, a sailing weekend in Ibiza, and a weekend away in New York!
